Hi, I'm a college student and I'm doing a project for a linguistics class about gender neutral pronouns. My project is about the way language can be used to shape unique gender identities. For my paper, I'd like to interview a couple of people who use gender neutral pronouns and use the interviews as case studies about the use of GNPs that I'll frame with some background linguistical research in my paper.
Anyway, I hate to be obnoxious posting asking for subjects, but I'm pretty desperate. I'm really interested in the topic, but I only have one subject at this point, and I'd like at least two or three others. Confidentiality would be ensured, of course. I can give you any information you need if you email me. I have a consent form that will assure you of your rights as well as the interview. You can read through the materials if you'd like and of course you wouldn't be obligated to participate.
So, um, if you're over 18 and have used gender neutral pronouns at any point in your life and are willing to answer a couple of questions pertaining to gender identity and language, email me at email@example.com. Feel free to email me just to ask questions if you're interested. Thank you so much!
